Self Storage and Coronavirus

Updated Monday, 24th May 2021

Q. Are you open?

Yes! Opening times for access to all buildings are as normal. This will not change throughout the national lockdown period.

Q. Are you taking bookings for storage during the lockdown?

Yes! There are many people and businesses that are finding themselves in need of storage during the many challenging situations being created by the pandemic. There are also many people in the process of moving house which is permitted under government regulations.

Q. What has changed?

As per the government advice, self storage companies like ours will remain open as we provide an essential service to many supply chains that are working to contain the spread of Coronavirus. We also provide storage for house movers and many businesses that continue to operate such as online retailers, construction and some professional services.

Although we’re not encouraging our customers to make any unnecessary trips to visit us, we understand that many of our customers will continue to need help at this time. We stand ready to serve both existing customers and others who find themselves in need of essential storage.

Self storage does not attract large amounts of people at any one time, but we have made further changes to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible.

  • Developed the ability to do remote, non-contact move-ins, payments and vacations.
  • Signage to request that a 2 metre social distancing rule is adhered to throughout the site.
  • Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed in the reception and all loading bay areas.
  • Regular cleaning routines on all surfaces used by customers.
  • PPE has been provided to all team members.

During the national lockdown, to limit social contact, the reception will be closed but staff will be on site so please call or e-mail us if you require assistance.

Please take care of yourselves and each other.
